Q and A

It's been a while since the last time. Ask me anything and I'll answer when I find the time.

About earrings

My absolute favourite pair of earrings. Bought them at some really cheap and tacky chinese store when I was in Berlin, and I have been wearing them ever since.

Ruling Planet

Venus: Libra is dominated by Venus, the planet which also rules Taurus. Venus was named for the Roman Goddess of Love and Beauty. In its highest form, Venus provides the finest of all planetary influences. It denotes a kindly and harmonious nature, possessed with a desire for happiness and comradeship. Beauty, charm, love of music and gaiety all belong to the make-up of a Venus individual. Those under the influence of this planet will spare no effort in the creation of comfortable surroundings. They enjoy home life and form firm and lasting friendships. Such are the positive aspects bestowed by Venus. In contrast, however, lack of harmony is disturbing to natives of Venus, causing them to become emotional over disputes. Being kindly souls, they are easily offended and will resent even slight neglect. Unless those ruled by this planet are careful in their choice of friends or those upon whom they shower affection, the result may be misunderstanding.

In an astrological sense, the influence of Venus is associated chiefly with things admirable and desirable...love, beauty, (together with the love of beauty for its own sake)a sense of aesthetics and appreciation of the arts. It is also aligned with harmony, unison, peace, reconcilliation and the enjoyment of pleasure. The influence of Venus is felt in all types of relationships concerning business and social ties, as well as love and sexual bonds. Venus beseeches us to indulge our senses and revel in the beauty of our world. This Planet is inextricably linked to refinement, culture, charm and grace.

Venus also deals with the pleasure we derive from our possessions. Luxuries (jewelry, paintings, expensive cars), good food and drink, a beautiful home and a sense of refinement all please Venus's interests. This Planet asks us to appreciate the exquisite nature of things. It's a sensual -- though not necessarily sexual -- world as far as Venus is concerned.

The 5 stages of grief

1.Denial. Denial is usually only a temporary defense for the individual. This feeling is generally replaced with heightened awareness of situations and individuals that will be left behind after death.

2. Anger. Once in the second stage, the individual recognizes that denial cannot continue. Because of anger, the person is very difficult to care for due to misplaced feelings of rage and envy. Any individual that symbolizes life or energy is subject to projected resentment and jealousy.

3.Bargaining.The third stage involves the hope that the individual can somehow postpone or delay death. Usually, the negotiation for an extended life is made with a higher power in exchange for a reformed lifestyle. Psychologically, the person is saying, "I understand I will die, but if I could just have more time..."

4.Depression.During the fourth stage, the dying person begins to understand the certainty of death. Because of this, the individual may become silent, refuse visitors and spend much of the time crying and grieving. This process allows the dying person to disconnect oneself from things of love and affection. It is not recommended to attempt to cheer up an individual who is in this stage. It is an important time for grieving that must be processed.

5.This final stage comes with peace and understanding of the death that is approaching. Generally, the person in the fifth stage will want to be left alone. Additionally, feelings and physical pain may be non-existent. This stage has also been described as the end of the dying struggle.

2-day old eye makeup, wet hair, hardly any sleep for 3 days + a little lipstick. And the results speak for themselves.

Allegory of the cave: A group of people have lived chained in a cave all of their lives, facing a blank wall. They can only see what is in front of them. The people watch shadows projected on the wall by things passing in front of a fire behind them, and begin to ascribe forms to these shadows. These shadows are what they consider their reality. One of the prisoners escape from the cave and becomes enlightened. He has seen all things as they really are, and runs around in excitement. He is still not completly pleased and climbs back into the cave to tell the others about what he has seen. They won't listen to him. Afraid of letting go of their conservative perception of reality, they kill him.
